In the 80’s, after completing a Masters in Clinical Psychology at the University of NSW, she worked in various mental health services in the Sydney area. In the 90’s, the whole family moved to Northern NSW. This was a time of spiritual search where she had the opportunity to learn and practice meditation and mindfulness. In 2000, her family of 5 children were growing, becoming more independent, so she focused again on her career. After moving to Canberra, Marie worked for a while in the Pain Management Clinic in Canberra Hospital before starting working in her own private practice Bloomfield Psychology, in Turner.
